These individuals have most contributed to replacing
ignorance with knowledge, savagery with civilization,
disease with health, tyranny with liberty, poverty
with abundance, and despair with happiness.
#50: Henry Ford (1863-1947)
Henry Ford (1863-1947) was an American and founder of Ford Motor
Company.

He introduced the Model T which revolutionized transportation. He
was also instrumental in developing the infrastructure the automobile
would need to succeed and improve the lives of millions.
Still more important is that he introduced industrial mass production
which helped to make possible a cornucopia of affordable products,
causing the standard of living of America, and eventually much of
the world, to skyrocket to levels not thought possible.
Henry Ford was able to create the wealth he did ultimately because
he was, in essence, a man of reason.
The goods he produced were, in fact, produced; they did not
pre-exist in nature nor were they stolen from anyone. This production,
then and now, requires the full use of the human mind and represents
the epitome of virtue.
